The large sewing basket is 11” long and handmade in the traditional cane and reed construction. The base and handles are made with cherry wood. The top of the Nantucket Sewing Basket is adorned with a cherry wood knob with ivory inlay and a scallop shell carving. This large sewing basket is signed and dated on the bottom and is a real collector’s item for any sewing enthusiast.
